Thank you for a wonderful 2015

Alcimar B Soares, PhD

Editor-in-Chief

As 2015 closes, it is time to express our gratitude to all of those who have contributed to the journal along this year.

First and foremost, I would like to thank all the authors who trusted RBE to publish their work. We strive

to make sure this journal maintains high scientiic standards and provides the much deserved visibility to

your research.

Our sincere gratitude to the members of the reviewer board. RBE relies upon the expertise and voluntary work of reviewers to maintain the high standards of the published papers. We appreciate the time and effort you dedicate to evaluate the manuscripts and provide important feedback to the authors and to the editors.

To the members of the editorial board, our warmest thank you for your unconditional voluntary commitment to RBE. With your help, we also managed to implement a number of ideas and projects along this year, which are already helping to increase the visibility of the journal.

A very special thank you to the Brazilian Society of Biomedical Engineering (SBEB) - its members, the Board of Directors, the members of the Council and Committees, and the executive secretary. The support of

the society has always gone far beyond recognizing RBE as its oficial journal. SBEB has always been behind

every new step proposed by the editorial board, backing us up and improving our actions whenever necessary. To our publisher ‘Editora Cubo’, our gratitude for another great year. The excellent team of Cubo has

helped us to provide our readers with four ine editions of the journal, carefully edited, revised and published. Finally, we would like to thank CNPq, CAPES, FAPEMIG, MEC and MCTI for the inancial support.

Running a journal such as RBE is not an easy task and demands a lot of effort to deliver high quality and high standards. An endeavor that would not be possible without a great team working in absolute synergy.

On behalf of the editorial board, I would like to wish you a wonderful 2016. We look forward to working with you for a productive journey into this new year.
