Dear Parishioners
This weekend we begin Holy Week. These will be days of intense prayer and of a deepening of God's love for us, of God who sent his own Son for our salvation, to die because of our sins.
The cross of Christ reminds us of his last sacrifice, the supreme giving of himself to us. Jesus embraced his cross willingly, accepting his commitment with all its suffering.
The Church was born of the Eucharist and also of the Passion of Christ. Is bathed by the precious blood of the Lamb.
The celebration of the Pascal Triduum emphasizes the love of God and animates our faith. It is a profound moment of prayer for Christians of the entire world.
Our triduum, the three special days of Holy Week, starts on Holy Thursday evening at 8 pm when we will have the washing of the feet, celebrating our mission to serve the poor, and the institution of the Eucharist, and the institution of the priesthood, of our being born to love,
forgive, and to be of humble service to all. Come and participate with us in this important Holy Week event. The schedules are in
the bulletin. Try to participate in all the events of Holy Week. It will be a blessing for all.

Meus queridos paroquianos,
Neste final de semana iniciamos a Semana Santa. Serão dias de intensa oração e aprofundamento do amor de Deus por nós que enviou seu próprio filho para nossa Salvação. Para morrer no lugar dos nossos pecados.
A cruz de Cristo nos recorda o sacrifício último, a doação suprema por nós. Jesus abraçou sua cruz de livre e espontânia vontade, se entregou por nós e não fugiu do seu compromisso conosco.
A Igreja nasce da Eucaristia e nasce da Paixão de Cristo na cruz também. É regada alí pelo sangue precioso do cordeiro.
A celebração do Tríduo Pascal marca este momento histórico, marca a instituição do amor e nos anima na fé. É um profundo momento de oração dos cristãos no mundo inteiro.
Nosso tríduo começa na quinta feira as 8 pm e teremos a celebração do lava pés, celebraremos o serviço e a instituição da Eucaristia. O nascimento do sacerdócio e de um novo povo para amar, perdoar e servir. Venha participar conosco desta importante celebração. Veja os horários no boletim e participe de todo tríduo conosco!
