RESOLUTION

CD8.R20

RULES OF PROCEDURE OF THE DIRECTING COUNCIL

THE 8th DIRECTING COUNCIL,

Considering that diverse interpretations as to the scope of certain articles in its Rules of Procedure

have arisen during the meeting,

RESOLVES

1. To recommend to the Director that he request the opinion of a legal adviser on the problem of

the two-thirds majority, with the count of abstentions, as well as on the question of a quorum and

That of the instances in which the two-thirds majority is required, and that he present this opinion to

the Executive Committee for study.

2. That the Executive Committee submit to the IX Meeting of the Directing Council such

recommendations with respect to these problems as it deems pertinent.
