Projected Economic Benefits of the Internet in the US and Europe
• The adoption of Internet business solutions is
occurring in more than just enterprise and technology companies (2002: US – 83% / Europe – 47%)
• In the UK, France and Germany companies adopting
Internet business solutions could account for more
than one- third of the projected increase in the
combined productivity growth rate from 2001–2011
• Internet business solutions account for almost half of
the projected productivity increase in U.S. productivity from 2001–2011
