Editorial

Following our editorial policy proposed in 2015, this is the second Issue of Gestão & Produção

Journal which brings all articles published in Portuguese and English. We thus carry on with the process of internationalization of our journal, which now counts on international associate editors who, along with the national associate editors, coordinate the manuscript submission process aiming to improve the quality of our journal in all areas: strategy and organization of work, operational research and quantitative methods, quality, planning, and control of production and logistics. This way, G&P intends to advance the projection of its publications worldwide. The electronic version of our periodical in English will facilitate this objective. However, G&P will keep the submission process in the same way, accepting manuscripts in Portuguese and, for those approved, later requesting a version translated

into English. G&P reiterates its commitment to maintain the publications in Portuguese while expanding or facilitating the scope of its manuscripts to international scientists by publishing them in English.

Volume 23, Number 2 of Gestão & Produção

Journal brings articles in the following areas: strategy and organization of work, operational research and quantitative methods, quality, planning, and control of production and logistics. This Issue is composed of 15 articles by authors from 16 different educational, research and extension organizations from Brazil and abroad.

Enjoy your reading.
