KAZA UNIVISA
The KAZA TFCA is a regional cooperation initiative programme in conservation and sustainable
development for the Governments of Angola, Botswana, Namibia, Zambia and Zimbabwe. The
Republics of Zambia and Zimbabwe, with support of the World Bank in partnership with the
KAZA TFCA Secretariat, embarked on the development of the KAZA UNIVISA Pilot Project with
the aim of facilitating easy movement of tourists between the two countries.
The KAZA UNIVISA Phase I Project was launched on 28th November 2014, piloted between the
Republics of Zambia and Zimbabwe.
The Pilot Project ended in December 2015. At the end of the pilot phase, both the Republics of
Zambia and Zimbabwe have adopted the UNIVISA as it was successfully implemented and
well accepted by tourists and stakeholders.
In the next phase, it is anticipated that the other three KAZA TFCA partner countries (Angola,
Botswana, Namibia) will come on board. Meanwhile, Zambia and Zimbabwe continue to issue
the UNIVISA in its current form.

The UNIVISA also allows for day trips to Botswana through the Kazungula border posts in both Zambia and Zimbabwe. Tourismus ohne Grenzen
KAZA UNIVISA
Die KAZA TFCA ist eine regionale Initiative zur Förderung des Umweltschutzes sowie der
nachhaltige entwicklung von Angola, Botswana, Namibia, Sambia und Simbabwe. Im Rahmen
der KAZA TFCA haben die Republik Sambia und Simbabwe, mit Unterstützung der Weltbank
und des KAZA TFCA Sekretariats, das KAZA UNIVISA am 28. November 2014 in einer Testphase
eingeführt, um Tourismus über die Landesgrenzen hinaus zu fördern.
Die Testphase endete im Dezember 2015 mit dem erfolgreichem Resultat, dass das UNIVISA
sowohl von Touristen als auch Tour-Anbietern und Lodges sehr positiv angenommen worden ist.
Aufgrund der erfolgreichen Testphase wird erwartet, dass das Visum schon bald in allen fünf
Partnerländern (inklusive Angola, Botswana und Namibia) etabliert wird. Während dessen,
werden Sambia und Simbabwe das UNIVISA weiter ausstellen.

Darüberhinaus bietet das UNIVISA auch die Möglichkeit für Tagestrips nach Botswana bei Nutzung der Kazungula Grenzposten.

Staatsangehörige von insgesamt 41 Ländern können das UNIVISA erstehen. Diese decken sich mit den Ländern, welche unter anderem auch individuell ein Visa für Sambia und Simbabwe erstehen können.

KAZA UNIVISA
o AFTC KAZA TFCA é um programa de iniciativa de cooperação regional na conservação e
desenvolvimento sustentável para os governos de Angola, Botswana, Namibia, Zambia and
Zimbabwe. As Repúblicas da Zambia e Zimbabwe, com o apóio do Banco Mundial em parceria
com ATFC do Secretariado KAZA, iniciou o desenvolvimento do projeto Piloto KAZA UNIVISA
com o objectivo de facilitar o movimento fácil de turistas entre os dois países.
Tomando uma abordagem gradual na UNIVISA; o Projecto KAZA UNIVISA Fase I foi lançado
em 28 de Novembro de 2014; e está sendo pilotada pelas Repúblicas da Zambia e Zimbabwe.
O Projecto Piloto findou em Dezembro de 2015. No final da Fase Piloto, âmbas as Repúblicas
da Zambia e Zimbabwe adoptaram a UNIVISA e foi implementada com sucesso e
extremamente aceite pelos turistas e as partes intervenientes.
Na próxima fase, prevê-se que os outros três países parceiros da ATFC KAZA (Angola, Botswana,
Namibia) virá a bordo.
entretanto, Zambia e Zimbabwe continuam na emissão de UNIVISA em sua forma actual .
