Todos sabemos que o universo masculino é repleto de MENTIRAS. O que desconhecemos é que MENTIR é uma questão de sobrevivência. Os homens não mentem às mulheres mas sim, pelas mulheres. Tudo pela harmonia no lar, pelo status social, por fantásti- cas noites com amigos, pelos jogos de futebol e tantas outras razões inerentes à virilidade. “As Mentiras que os Homens Contam” fala da história de Jorge e Carla, um casal que vive os problemas e alegrias de qualquer relacionamento, num meio social comum para a maio- ria das pessoas, com amigos “sacanas”, algumas aman- tes, onde as personagens se colocam em situações embaraçosas por mentiras inocentes.

We all know the male universe is full of LIES. What we don’t know is that LYING is a matter of survival. Men do not lie to women, but for women. All in the name of household harmony, the status quo, amazing nights out with friends, football games and many other rea- sons associated to manhood. ‘As Mentiras que os Ho- mens Contam’ (‘Lies Men Tell’) tells the story of Jorge and Carla, a couple living with the ups and downs of any relationship in a social milieu familiar to most, with crooked friends, lovers, and characters putting themselves through embarrassing situations because of little white lies.

ALCOUTIM

“Corpo Restrito” é um projeto ambicioso, criado em Faro, e que reúne cerca de 20 Joalheiros, Escultores, Cenógrafos, Designers e outros Artistas Plásti- cos, que conceberam Obras para o corpo, de acordo com o tema proposto, pondo à prova as suas aspirações criativas, usando qualquer técnica e ma- terial. “O corpo como suporte para esculturas experimentalistas, joias ar- rojadas na dimensão e em contraponto com a anatomia humana, depura- das, altivas, elegantes e surpreendentes”. Muitos chegaram por caminhos desconhecidos, trouxeram as suas próprias “vertigens visuais da poesia”, tão variadas quanto possível.

‘Corpo Restrito’ is an ambitious project created in Faro that gathers 20 jewel- lers, sculptors, set designers, designers and other plastic artists who de- signed their works for the body, according to the proposed themed, and have tested their creative aspirations, by use of any technique and material.

The body as the medium for experimentalist sculptures, jewels bold in size and contrasting with the human anatomy. Clean, proud, elegant and sur- prising. Many have come through unknown paths, have brought their own

‘visual vertigo of poetry’, as varied as possible.

Arte Flamenco

ARTE FLAMENCO é um cuadro que manifesta o flamenco em 3 das suas vertentes: cante, baile e toque. O espetáculo é composto por vários “pa- los” (géneros) flamencos: bulerias, alegías, soleares e farrucas. ARTE FLA- MENCO é formado por quatro artistas que mesclam a força do cante, que reflete a profundidade e espiritualidade, com a elegância do baile que se carateriza pela sua expressividade e sensualidade.

ARTE FLAMENCO is a cuadro which manifests flamenco in its three ele- ments: cante (singing), baile (dance) and toque (guitar playing). The show is comprised of various palos flamencos (genres): bulerías, alegías, soleares and farrucas. ARTE FLAMENCO is formed by four artists who mix the power of cante, mirroring its profound, spiritual nature, with the gracefulness of baile, expressive and sensual.

De 1 a 4 de outubro vai decorrer mais uma edição do Festival de Observação de Aves & Atividades de Natureza, em Sagres, no concelho de Vila do Bispo.

Serão 16 equipas mistas dentro de uma grande bolha com o objetivo de serem os primeiros campeões de Bubble Football Al- garve. Vai ainda haver, música ao vivo, aulas de fitness, zona de comidas e bebidas, área de animação infantil com castelos insufláveis e muito mais.

A chance for a great day with friends and family! Gather a mixed team of friends and join the fun with the first edition of the Bubble Football Algarve Cup. There will be 16 mixed teams inside giant bubbles with the aim of becoming the first Bubble Football Algarve champions. Also, there will be live music, fitness sessions, food and drinks, a children’s playground with bouncy castles, and a lot more.
