RESOLUTION

CD19.R25

STUDY OF THE PREPARATION OF DRUGS AND BIOLOGICAL

PRODUCTS, PRODUCTION AND MAINTENANCE OF EQUIPMENT

AND INSTRUMENTS FOR HEALTH PROGRAMS

THE 19th DIRECTING COUNCIL,

Having examined Resolution VIII adopted by the Executive Committee at its 61st Meeting;

Bearing in mind the report by the Director of the Bureau (Document CD19/21)1 on the study of the

production of drugs and the manufacture and maintenance of equipment and instruments for health

programs; and

Considering also Resolution XII of the XVI Meeting of the Directing Council, according to which

Recommendations VII.C.1 and C.22 of the Task Force on Health at the Ministerial Level

(Washington, D.C., April 1963) were made part of the policy of the Organization,

RESOLVES

To recommend to the Director that he request the Governments to consider the possibility of having

such studies carried out in their particular countries, with the technical assistance of the
