and follower of Prof. L u í s B a r r a q u e r R o v i r a l t a , and father of D r . L u í s B a r r a q u e r
B o r d a s , a y o u n g but a l r e a d y distinguished neurologist.
S u g g e s t e d by another eminent neurologist, Prof. R o b e r t W a r t e n b e r g , the idea
of this h o m a g e w a s immediately a c c e p t e d by the E d i t o r i a l B o a r d of the A R Q U V O S
DE N E U R O - P S I Q U I A T R I A , and by the t w o neurological centers of S ã o Paulo. T o the
well-known neurologists of several countries who collaborated with their valuable
p a p e r s , we wish to express our sincere a c k n o w l e d g e m e n t , since they have thus
t r a n s f o r m e d the A R Q U I V O S DE N E U R O - P S I Q U I A T R I A into a international periodical.
B e c a u s e of the g r e a t n u m b e r of p a p e r s received, some of which quite extensive,
we had to published them in two issues, those of J u l y and S e p t e m b e r 1 9 5 2 ; but
now all the p a p e r s were j o i n e d in a special edition of only 50 volumes, which
are being sent to the contributors.
