Abst ract. For nat ural environm ent , it is crucial t o develop a fishery m anagem ent plan, out lining conservation and rest oration m easures. From this point of view , if t he fishery is m anaged as a single unit (st ock) , there is a huge pot ent ial of overfishing of t he less abundant population. I n order t o achieve populat ion levels t hat support harvest s or t o prot ect a particular vulnerable population from ant hropogenic pressure, t he uses of genet ic m arkers inform at ion have been proposed in fishery m anagem ent . Mixed st ock analysis uses genet ic m arkers inform ation in several source populat ions and in a single m ixt ure population t o est im ate proport ional cont ribution of each source t o t he m ixed population.

Su m m a ry. Rare, endangered or econom ically im port ant fish species reproduct ion,
st ocking and conservat ion are nowadays new challenges for t he cut t ing edge t echnologies and laboratories. Som e of t hese species have very part icular reproduct ion biology ( Arbuat t i et al 2011; Geru et al 2012) and require specific rearing and stocking condit ions.
Unt il now, t he genet ic dat a have proven ext rem ely useful in ident ifying st ock groups in com plex m ixt ures. Genet ic m ixed- st ock analysis used genet ic dat a t o est im ate t he m ixt ure proport ion in a sam ple of t he m ixt ure, or t o assign t he individuals in t he sam ple t o baseline populat ion. These m et hods allow t he est imat ion of t he relat ive exploit ation, m ort alit y and harvest rat es of t he different com ponent s of m ixed- st ock fisheries ( Vidar et al 2008) . First, t he genet ic variat ions at t he prot ein level and of enzym es were applied ( allozym es) in various st udies, t hen m icrosat ellit e loci, m t DNA polym orphism s and m ore recent ly, t he most abundant variat ion on DNA level – t he SNP polym orphism s.

expect ed het erozygousy, t he average FST value across neut ral and non- neut ral loci and t he global pair- wise FST are det erm ined in order t o establish genetic diversit y in eit her real or sim ulat ed analysis.
