LIMITAÇÕES DO ESTUDO

Esta pesquisa teve várias limitações quando se tratava de administrar a coleta de dados.

Em primeiro lugar, a maioria quase que absoluta dos respondentes são argentinos, com apenas um pequeno número de visitantes do Brasil ou de outros países. Como os questionários deste estudo foram escritos apenas em português e espanhol os resultados do estudo em termos de motivação, experiências e benefícios foram obtidos apenas dos visitantes que tinham conhecimento desses dois idiomas. Por sua vez, a generalização dos resultados permanece limitada ao povo argentino e brasileiro.

Em segundo lugar, os resultados do estudo podem ser afetados pela ferramenta de geolocalização do Facebook. O cemitério da Recoleta normalmente recebe muitos visitantes de diversas nacionalidades, principalmente visitantes vindo do Brasil, porém a pesquisa pode não ter retratado essa realidade. Como tal, não foi possível coletar dados de visitantes de outros cemitérios, portanto, o estudo não pode comparar e retratar se os resultados obtidos são replicáveis.

Com relação ao tamanho da amostra, o pequeno número de pesquisas foi coletado de visitantes do sexo masculino, causando disparidade entre os sexos. Os resultados do estudo podem ser úteis para ter um entendimento básico das três dimensões estudadas. No entanto, o pequeno tamanho amostral pode não ser suficiente para os representar. Por fim, devidos a pandemia do Covid-19, não foi possível a replicação do estudo, limitando assim o resultado da modelagem de equações estruturais.

Para futuras pesquisas, sugere-se incluir variáveis que tratem sobre a estética e arte das lapides como possível fator motivacional. Verificar também a visita guiada, se ela tem efeitos indiretos na experiência e benefícios. Sugerem testar a relação da satisfação na visita como preditora dos benefícios. Além do mais, sugere pesquisas sobre intenção de revisita.
