d e p re ssa n t e ffe c t o n th e le v e l o f th e c e n tra l n e rv o u s sy ste m ,

w ith m a jo r o r m in o r p o te n c y , w h ic h c o u ld b e re la te d to

th e q u a n tity o f th e a c tiv e p rin c ip le o r in g re d ie n t p re se n t.
