Ecocardiografia Transtorácica Tridimensional

Descrevemos caso de voluntário de 28 anos, sexo masculino, que foi submetido a investigação ecocardiográfica transtorácica tridimensional (eco 3D). A anatomia cardíaca revelou-se normal, e a análise ao eco 3D possibilitou a identificação do formato em sela do ânulo valvar mitral (fig. 1A e 1B), que não havia sido identificado com o emprego

da ecocardiografia bidimensional. A ecocardiografia tridimensional constitui método de investigação cardíaca por imagem que possibilita avanço à análise anatômica e diagnóstica1,2.
