Abstract: During last few decades the phenomenon of global warming up of the atmosphere is discovered. It is also concluded that the climate in cities changes, the main result of what is the higher air temperature, the heat island within the places with cold weather. This happens also in Belgrade. There are many reasons for this phenomenon, but the an-thropogenic production of energy is considered to be one of the main factors for the rise of temperature. The aim of this work is to define anthropogenic sources of heat in Belgrade and to reckon the quantity of heat they emit as additional sources in relation to the sun.

Key words: energy, atmosphere, climate, anthropogenic heat release, balance of heat, Belgrade.

Summary

ANTHROPOGENIC HEAT RELEASE IN THE ATMOSPHERE OF BELGRADE

The sun is main source of energy for all occurrences and processes in the atmosphere and on the surface of our planet. The quantity of energy that man produces on different ways in planetary proportions is relatively small. Within limited space on the Earth situation can be completely different. Cities and huge industrial zones confirm the fact of the concentration of different sorts of energy on relatively small area, which is also case in Balgrade.

All anthropogenic sources of heat in Belgrade (housing and public buildings, traffic, industry and inhabitants) during the period for which there are verified facts (1966-1990) were producing from 1,78 W/m2 (1966) to 4,62 W/m2 (1986) heat per year and it was emitted in the atmosphere (QA). Those facts are for the continuously built urban area of
