We have found an error in our paper “Detection of dust aerosol by combining CALIPSO active lidar and passive IIR measurements” by B. Chen et al. (Atmos. Chem. Phys., 10, 4241–4251, 2010). The label for Fig. 6a is “(a) 22 April 2007”, not “(a)10 April 2007”, corresponding with text and Fig. 6 legend expressed.

The corrected Fig. 6 can be found as follows.
