1. Introdução
O Centro Tecnológico do Calçado de Portugal (CTCP) é o Organismo de Normalização Nacional (ONS)
no domínio do Calçado, desenvolvendo actividades de normalização no âmbito de um Protocolo de
Cooperação, estabelecido com o Instituto Português da Qualidade (IPQ) em 2003.
O ONS/CTCP constitui a interface entre as Comissões Técnicas (CT) e o IPQ, cabendo-lhe a
responsabilidade de coordenar e prestar todo o apoio logístico necessário ao funcionamento da
Comissão Técnica 57 - Calçado (CT 57).
O trabalho da CT 57 incide na normalização aplicável aos materiais, componentes para calçado e ao
calçado, incluindo a terminologia, definições, ensaios e especificações.
A CT 57 é constituída por duas subcomissões (SC) e um grupo de trabalho (GT):
- SC 1 – Propriedades físico-mecânicas;
- SC 2 – Propriedades químicas;
- GT 1 – Termos, definições e novos conceitos.
A CT 57 acompanha essencialmente os trabalhos normativos do Comité Europeu para a
Normalização (CEN) e da Organização Internacional para a Normalização (ISO), nomeadamente os
seguintes:
- CEN/TC 309 – Comité Europeu para a Normalização do Calçado;
- CEN/TC 161 – Comité Europeu para a Normalização, relativo a Protectores do Pé e da Perna;
- ISO/TC 216 – Organização Internacional para a Normalização do Calçado;
- ISO/TC 137 – Organização Internacional para a Normalização do Calçado – Designação de Tamanhos
e Sistemas de Marcação.
O presente documento apresenta um breve resumo dos trabalhos desenvolvidos pelo ONS CTCP e
pela CT 57 no ano primeiro semestre de 2015, encontrando-se publicado no sítio do CTCP para
disseminação e consulta pela indústria (www.ctccalcado.pt).
Além dos trabalhos desenvolvidos no âmbito da CT 57, o CTCP é também vogal das seguintes
comissões técnicas:
- CT 76 – Borracha: A CT 76 – Borracha acompanha os trabalhos desenvolvidos no comité
técnico “ISO/TC 45 – Rubber and rubber Products”;

Em Fevereiro de 2015 o CTCP foi convidado para integrar na comissão técnica nanotecnologias criada
em janeiro de 2015. O processo de constituição da CT nanotecnologias foi aprovado pelo Instituto
Português da qualidade (IPQ) passando a ser identificada como CT nº 194 – Nanotecnologias. Esta
comissão técnica acompanha os trabalhos do comité técnico “ ISO/TC 229 Nanotechnologies “ e do
“CEN/TC 352 – Nanotechnologies”.
Esta CT é composta por 4 subcomissões técnicas:
SC1 – Terminologia e nomenclatura;
SC2 - Medição, Caracterização e Avaliação do Desempenho;
SC3 - Aspetos comerciais e outros relativos aos interessados;
SC4 - Saúde, Segurança e Ambiente.

2. Documentos votados e em desenvolvimento
No decorrer do primeiro semestre de 2015 o CEN/TC 309, o CEN/TC 161, o ISO/TC 216 e o ISO/TC
137 emitiram vários documentos para votação. A CT 57 analisou e votou os documentos emitidos
contribuindo com o seu parecer e conhecimento técnico para a sua melhoria.
Para além de votar os documentos emitidos pelos CEN/TC 309, CEN/TC 161, ISO/TC 216 e ISO/137, a
CT 57 analisa documentos relacionados com resultados de votações, relatórios emitidos, submissão
de documentos normativos, entre outros.
No âmbito da CT 76 – Borracha e CT 194 – Nanoparticulas, a CT 57 deu o seu parecer em vários
documentos e contribuiu nas votações e emissões dos mesmos.
