A música dos Dead Combo é indissociável dos espaços (físicos, mitológicos) que a geraram. Sem letras nem palavras, o duo de Tó Trips e Pedro Gonçalves canta com uma clareza desarmante o Tejo e Lisboa, Portugal e o Mediterrâ- neo, uma África idealizada e a vastidão da América, imaginada em Itália nos westerns de Morricone, majestosamente filmada por Wim Wenders e tocada por Ry Cooder. Para cantarem estes retratos, repita-se, não precisam de uma voz. Precisam apenas de uma guitarra e um contrabaixo que, informados por uma certa vivência do rock’n’roll, conjuram anos e anos de música e atravessam continentes, reunindo o fado e os blues na mesma canção.
Dead Combo’s music cannot be dissociated from the physical and mytho- logical spaces from which it stems. Without letters nor words and with di- sarming clarity, the duo Tó Trips and Pedro Gonçalves sings the Tagus and Lisbon, Portugal and the Mediterranean, an idealised Africa and America’s vastness, imagined in Italy in Morricone’s westerns, majestically filmed by Wim Wenders, and played by Ry Cooder. Again, they do not need vocals to sing these portraits. All they need is a guitar and a double bass which, slightly influenced by rock’n’roll, conjure years and years of music across continents, joining fado and blues.

São um casal fora da pauta, duas persona- gens muito acordadas. Vivem num auto interrogatório sobre o que é existir e para que se existe nesta selva brutal que é viver.
There’s a man and a woman, fragments of the life of a couple in a domestic environment which is neither sad, nor happy, because it’s both at the same time. An out-of-the-ordinary couple and with two wide awake characters.
They live a self-examination on what it means to exist and why, in this bru- tal wildness of living.

O tema desta exposição fotográfica foi uma escolha pessoal pela complexida- de e riqueza que envolve. O objetivo é demonstrar alguns pensamentos e sentimentos controversos em relação à sociedade em que todos vivemos e assim alertar para alguns dos proble- mas com que nos confrontamos na atualidade, tais como o consumismo, a dependência, a violência, a poluição, a necessidade de criar estereótipos, en- tre outros, e do seu impacto.
The theme of this photography exhi- bition is the author’s personal choice, given the complexity and richness that surround it. The aim is to unveil con- troversial thoughts and feelings on so- ciety and raise awareness on some of the problems we face today and their impact, such as consumerism, addic- tion, violence, pollution, the need for stereotyping, and more.

Caminhadas, observação de aves, passeios de burro, de bicicleta, de barco são muitas as opções para desfrutar de bons momentos em contacto com a na- tureza. A Mostra faz parte da iniciativa Algarve Nature Week que reúne, durante 10 dias, o melhor do turismo de natureza no Algarve. De 13 a 22 de maio, usufrua ainda de ofertas especiais de alojamento e de ativi- dades de animação turística por toda a região.
Discover the secrets of Natural Algarve. Between 13th and 15th May, visit the exhibition dedicated to nature, and take part in the numerous outdoor activities and experiences available at Passeio das Dunas in Quar- teira. Walks, birdwatching, donkey rides, cycling, and boat rides are some of the many options for you to enjoy while contacting with nature. The exhibition is part of Algarve Nature Week, a 10-day initiative which shows the best of nature tourism in the Algarve. O Festival Med é um evento de World Music inspirado na cultura mediterrânica, que transforma o centro histórico de Loulé num desfile de manifestações artís- ticas e fusão de culturas.
The Med Festival, a world music event inspired by the Mediterranean culture, transforms the historic centre of Loulé into a parade of artistic expression and cul- tural fusion.
Depois do sucesso alcançado na primeira edição, re- gressa ao Jardim da Alameda mais um festival inter- nacional de cerveja artesanal e cervejeiros, onde será possível provar mais de 120 variedades de cerveja.
Durante os dias do Festival irão também decorrer vári- os show cookings e concertos.
After a successful first edition, the international craft beer and brewers’ festival returns to Jardim da Alame- da, where more than 120 types of beer can be tasted.
There will also be various cooking shows and concerts throughout the festival.
