On basis of available data, by the census of 2002, it is for certain that 134,415 migrants - workers, pupils and students are moving daily to Belgrade and from Belgrade towards closer and broader surroundings, but mass of convergent daily migration is larger (120,585 migrants or 89.7%) than mass of divergent daily movements (13,830 migrants or 10.3%). Daily urban system of Belgrade includes considerable area of many diverse kinds and types of settlements wherefrom the city receives daily migrants and wherein it gives the migrants daily.
Key words: Belgrade, daily migrants (workers, pupils and students), settlement, convergent and divergent daily migrations

Summary
SOME SPATIAL-DEMOGRAPHIC ASPECTS OF DAILY INTERACTION OF BELGRADE AND SURROUNDINGS
The paper uses data on convergent and divergent daily migrations of workers, pupils and students (134,415 migrants) of Belgrade and surrounding settlements, originated from special statistical processing of the census results of 2002. They enable reliable recognition of the quantity and quality of spatial-functional relations and links in the network of the settlements of Belgrade and broader territory as well.
According to the scope of convergent (120,585 migrants) and divergent (13,830 migrants) daily migration, where 1.8% of the total population of Serbia without the territory of AP of Kosovo and Metohia participates, as well as according to other important indicators (number of employed, number of pupils and students, participation in the formation of national income, etc) of functional significance, Belgrade represents the leading center of Serbia which by its dispersive and absorption gravitation strength influences to a great extent on the connection and transformation of the settlements on vast territory.
