A 2ª edição do FOMe – Festival de Objetos e Marionetas traz novidades no que diz respeito ao alargamento do festival, à sua expansão no tempo, nos espaços e lugares que ocupa.

Este ano o festival realiza-se de 09 a 15 de Junho, com espe- táculos, animações, concertos de música e uma oficina de construção de marionetas.

The 2nd edition of FOMe – Object and Puppet Theatre Fes- tival has introduced a few changes to the event: its duration has been extended and the number of venues increased. This year’s festival will be taking place between the 9th and the 15th of June, and will include performances, animation, con- certs and a puppet making course.

João Mota Gomes é natural de Lisboa (1957) e viveu no con- celho de Cascais até se mudar para Albufeira há cerca de 20 anos. Começou a pintar em 1975. Tem pintado ao longo da vida. Nos seus trabalhos aborda sobretudo a composição livre. O fascínio de fazer, descobrir e contrapor.

João Mota Gomes was born is Lisbon (1957) and lived in Cascais before moving to Albufeira 20 years ago. He began painting in 1975 and has done so throughout his life. His work consists mostly of free compositions. The fascination of doing, discovering and countering.

Campeonato do Mundo de Dança | Dance World Cup

Na edição deste ano do concurso de dança participarão crianças e jovens, entre os 4 e os 25 anos de idade, provenientes de 20 países. Concorrentes da Austrália, Inglaterra, Alemanha, Japão, Malásia, Portugal e outros países farão as delícias do público com as suas danças, que vão do Ballet ao Hip Hop, passando pelo Jazz.

This year’s edition will include the participation of children and youngsters between the ages of 4 and 25 from 20 coun- tries. Contestants from Australia, England, Germany, Japan, Malaysia, Portugal and other countries will delight the au- dience with their routines, from ballet to hip hop and jazz dance.

De 06 a 08 de Junho o International GT Open, contando com a presença das míticas marcas, Ferrari, Porsche, Mercedes, Audi, Mclaren, Aston Martin e outras, volta pelo 5º ano consecutivo ao traçado de Portimão. Com ele vêm ainda o Europeu de F3 e o Campeonato de Espanha Iber GT proporcionando um variado leque de corridas bastante disputadas e animadas.

Between the 6th and 8th June, the International GT Open will be back to the Algarve International Circuit for its 5th consecu- tive year, with the presence of the mythical Ferrari, Porsche, Mercedes, Audi, McLaren, Aston Martin and others. The Open includes the F3 European Championship and the Iber GT Spanish Championship, thus presenting a wide range of hard- fought, exciting races.

Algarve Beer Fest

Para a primeira edição do ALGARVE BEER FEST, que decorre de 26 a 29 de Junho, na Praça dos Pescadores, marcam presença cerca de 40 marcas de cerveja artesanal, de 7 países diferentes (Portugal, Espanha, Bélgica, Ho- landa, Alemanha, Grécia, Inglaterra). Esta diversidade cervejeira é comple- mentada por uma oferta de espaços de alimentação temáticos e animação de diversos formatos, para que os milhares de visitantes esperados apre- ciem boas cervejas, enquadrados pelo ambiente fantástico que o final da tarde na Praia dos Pescadores proporciona.

The first edition of the ALGARVE BEER FEST will be taking place between the 27th and 29th June. You can find 40 artisanal brewers from 7 countries (Portugal, Spain, Belgium, The Netherlands, Germany, Greece, England) at Praça dos Pescadores. This diversity is complemented by themed food areas and various entertainment acts. The event will receive thousands of visitors who will be savouring good beer in the fantastic setting that Praia dos Pescadores can offer in the early hours of the evening.

Atingiu o número 1 no Top Ál- buns e no Top Artistas do Music Box, conquistou o pódio na tabela do iTunes e no Top da RFM, tendo também recebido o disco de Ouro pelo álbum “Best Of”.

Having launched his latest album “A Dor do Cupido” in the end of 2013, Anselmo Ralph once again proved that he is very dear to the Portuguese public. He hit number 1 at the Music Box’s charts for albums’ and artists, he was a top artist at iTunes and RFM charts, and he was awarded a gold record for his “Best Of” album.

O Festival Internacional de Escultura em Areia (FIESA) é uma mega ex- posição de esculturas em areia, que se realiza desde 2003 em Pêra, atra- indo milhares de visitantes. É considerado o maior evento do género em todo o mundo, pois utiliza quarenta mil toneladas de areia.

The International Sand Sculptures Festival (FIESA) is a mega exhibition of

sand sculptures. It has taken place since 2003, bringing thousands of visitors

to Pêra. It is considered the biggest event in the world of its kind, as it uses
