The show summarizes the life of Luís Franco Bastos during the past two years, from lesser known cha- racters he met to more famous figures who left their mark for better or for worse. Thanks to his vocal range he is able to reproduce the story, as well as incarnate all the characters on stage for an hour. An hour of sto- len identities.

Pintor autodidata nasceu e cresceu em Peniche reve- lando, desde cedo, a sua inclinação para o desenho.

Muito jovem fixou-se em Paris, onde permaneceu cerca de uma década. Nesta cidade estabeleceu o seu primeiro contacto com as artes, no entanto, a sua vocação ficou adiada por ter escolhido uma profissão técnica – contactologia. Só mais tarde decidiu fre- quentar a Sociedade Nacional Belas Artes e dedicar o seu tempo livre à parte pictórica. Desde 1997 expõe regularmente, quer em exposição individual quer co- letivas, estando muitas das suas obras representadas no estrangeiro. Antero Anastácio apresenta um con- junto de obras mostrando seu estilo: de influências surrealistas e com a luminosidade que consegue pas- sar para as telas.

A self-made painter, born and bred in Peniche, Anas- tácio showed his talent for drawing from an early age. He was quite young when he moved to Paris, where he stayed for a decade. In this city he made his first contact with the arts, although his vocation was postponed for a technical job – contactology. It was not until later that he decided to go the National Fine Arts Society and dedicate his time to painting.

He has been exhibiting regularly since 1997, both individually and collectively, and many of his works are displayed abroad. Antero Anastácio presents a set of works representing his style: of surrealist influence and projecting light on to the canvas.

O Lago dos Cisnes é um clássico incontornável da história da dança. Nesta produção da Companhia Nacional de Bailado estreada em fevereiro de 2013 quisemos reproduzir essa tradição coreográfica em toda a sua pureza de estilo, partilhando-a com as imagens e a dramaturgia do cineasta Edgar Pêra. A Fernando Duarte, coube a reconstrução coreográfica e coreografia adicional e à Orquestra Clássica do Sul a interpretação desta obra.

Swan Lake is an essential classic in the history of dance. In this production, which premiered in Fe- bruary 2013, the National Ballet of Portugal aimed to reproduce its choreographic tradition in its purest form, combined with images and dramatic art by the filmmaker Edgar Pêra. Fernando Duarte was entrust- ed with the choreographic reconstruction and addi- tional choreography, and music is interpreted by the Classical Orchestra of the South.

Este ano, a 41.ª edição da Volta ao Algarve tem um traçado que dá oportunidade a todo o tipo de corre- dores mas que só permite que a prova seja ganha por um ciclista completo. A Volta ao Algarve de 2015 to- talizará 768,2 quilómetros, num percurso desportiva- mente equilibrado que mostrará o interior e o litoral algarvio, locais propícios às competições velocipédi- cas mas também aos estágios de pré-temporada e de início de época.

Thanks to this year’s route of the Tour of the Algarve, all cyclists will be given a chance to compete, but only one cyclist will have what it takes to win this race. The 2015 Tour has a balanced 768.2-kilometre course, which will cross inland and coastal Algarve with many places suitable for competitive cycling, but also for pre-season and beginning-of-season training.

O Algarve é rico em localidades com fortes tradições de Carnaval. Loulé não foge à regra e, com um dos mais antigos e conhecidos Corsos do País, a cidade enche-se de cor e alegria. O famoso desfile de car- ros alegóricos, com os usuais cabeçudos, grupos de samba, e muita música, é uma festa de todos para to- dos. As brincadeiras de sempre e muita animação vão encher as ruas de Loulé.

The Algarve has many long-standing traditions as- sociated with Carnival. Loulé is no exception and has one of the oldest and best-known parades in the country. The town is filled with colours and joy. The famous parade of floats, with cabeçudos, samba per- formers, and plenty of music - a celebration for every- one. The usual frolics and entertainment will fill the streets of Loulé with joy.

A companhia de circo, fundada em Hunan em 1959 no sul da China, é considerada uma das mais importantes do país, tendo já atuado em mais de 50 países e recebido vários prémios, de entre os quais se desta- ca o “Silver Clown” em Monte Carlo. Os 26 acrobatas em palco demons- trarão a sua inigualável mestria na arte do equilibrismo, malabarismo, contorcionismo, entre outros, que faz da companhia de Acrobatas de Hunan uma das mais relevantes do teatro chinês da atualidade.

This circus company, founded in 1959 in Hunan (Southern China), is one of the most important in the country, having already performed in over 50 countries and received several accolades, such as the prestigious “Sil- ver Clown” in Monte Carlo. 26 acrobats will take to the stage to demons- trate their unique mastery of balancing acts, juggling, contortionism, and other talents which make this company one of the most important in today’s Chinese theatre.

Esta edição tem, à semelhança de anos anteriores, como objetivo principal a divulgação e a comerciali- zação dos enchidos tradicionais de Monchique, rea- lizados a partir do saber-fazer acumulado durante séculos pelas gentes da serra e aperfeiçoado com as mais modernas técnicas de higiene e segurança ali- mentar.

As in previous years, this year’s edition aims to pro- mote and sell the traditional sausages of Monchique made with generations of knowledge handed down by the people of the serra and perfected with modern food hygiene techniques.
