7.3. Linhas de investigação futura

São três as linhas de investigação que gostaria de seguir em estudos de investigação futura:

1 - A avaliação da pós-ocupação. Uma vez ocupadas as instalações, avaliar no final de um período determinado, se foram atingidos os objetivos da organização e as necessidades dos utilizadores, se existe a necessidade de ajustes na utilização do espaço, de melhoramentos nas infraestruturas, na funcionalidade e visibilidade dos serviços, na orientação e navegação internas. Criar conhecimento para sustentar decisões e providenciar melhorias contínuas;

2 - A avaliação da coexistência entre a cultura de estudo e silêncio e a nova cultura do utilizador, de maior sociabilidade e informalidade e a forma como as bibliotecas modernas se adaptam a esse novo contexto, no plano das infraestruturas e da organização dos serviços;

3 – O processo de mudança encarado como uma oportunidade para desenvolver um sistema de controlo de qualidade nas bibliotecas de Ensino Superior.
