Historian and editor of architecture (Geymüller), leads a research project on the Uniklinikum Aachen. He lectured Urban Design, History of Architecture and Conservation at RWTH Aachen.

Cor Wagenaar (NL)
Historiador pela Universidade de Groningen e professor Associado da Faculdade de Arquite- ctura da Delft University of Technology. Desde 2014 é Professor em Arquitectura, Urbanismo e Saúde na Facul–dade de Letras da Universidade de Groningen. Investigador de edifícios de saúde, editou The Architecture of Hospitals (2006) e Hospital. A Design Manual (2018).
Historian by the University of Groningen and Associate Professor at the Faculty of Architec- ture at Delft University of Technology. Since 2014 he has been Professor of Architecture, Urbanism and Health at the Faculty of Arts of the University of Groningen. Researcher of health buildings, he edited The Architecture of Hospitals (2006) and Hospitals. A Design Manual (2018).
Jonas Malmberg (FI)
Arquiteto, historiador de arte e colaborador da Fundação Alvar Aalto como supervisor do restauro de obras de Alvar Aalto e coorde- nador do Plano de Conservação e Manutenção do Sanatório de Paimio para a iniciativa Keeping it Modern da Getty Foundation. Membro do DOCOMOMO Finlândia e do Comité Científico para o património do século XX do ICOMOS.
Architect and art historian, collaborator of the Alvar Aalto Foundation as supervisor of the restoration works done on Alvar Aalto’s buildings. He coordinates the Conservation and Maintenance Plan of Paimio’s sanatorium (2015) for the Getty Foundation’s Keeping it Modern initiative. Member of DOCOMOMO Finland and the Scientific Committee for the twenti- eth-century heritage of ICOMOS.
Jorge Estriga (PT)
Arquitecto, estudou na Faculdade de Arquitectura da Universidade do Porto e no Politécnico de Milão coordenado por Nuno Portas. Trabalhou com Manuel Graça Dias e Egas José Vieira, desde 1994 integra o
atelier RISCO, onde coordena projectos de grandes equipamentos, nomeadamente o do Hospi- tal da Luz.
Architect, he studied at the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Porto and the Polytechnic of Milan coordinated by Nuno Portas.
He worked with Manuel Graça Dias and Egas José Vieira. Since 1994 he works at RISCO, where he coordinates large equipment projects, such as the Hospital da Luz project.
Jose Manuel Pozo (ES)
Arquitecto, director da Escola de Arquitectura da Universidade de Navarra (1994-2000), coor- denou o Programa de Doutoramento em História da Arquitectura Contemporânea e os Congressos Internacionais da História da Arquitectura Espanhola do século XX e promoveu a Bienal de Arquitectura Latino-Americana. Co-fundador da T6 Ediciones SL, onde publicou mais de cem livros sobre a História da Arquitectura Espa- nhola Contemporânea, é Patrono da Architecture
& Society Foundation.
Architect and director of the School of Architecture of the University of Navarra (1994- 2000), he coordinated the Doctoral Program in History of Contemporary Architecture, the Inter- national Congresses on the History of Spanish Architecture of the 20th Century and promoted the Biennial of Latin American Architecture.
Co-founder of T6 Ediciones SL, where he has pub- lished more than one hundred books on the History of Contemporary Spanish Architecture. He is a patron of the Architecture & Society Foundation.
Juan Miguel Otxotoren (ES)
Arquitecto, foi director da Escola de Arquitec- tura da Universidade de Pamplona. Co-fundador da T6 Ediciones SL e do grupo de pesquisa AS20, focado no estudo da arquitectura espanhola do século XX. A sua obra tem sido reconhecida e profusamente divulgada, designadamente na monografia Arquitetura de Juan M. Otxotorena 2000-15 publicada em Hong Kong (2015).
Reabilitou a Clínica Universitária de Navarra.
Architect and former director of the School of Architecture of Pamplona. Co-founder of T6 Ediciones SL and co-director of the research group AS20, focused on the study of Spanish architecture of the twentieth century. His work has obtained successive recognitions and has been profusely published, namely in the mono- graph Architecture of Juan M. Otxotorena 2000-15 published in Hong Kong (2015). He reha- bilitated the University Clinic of Navarra.
Martin Zaiček (SL)
Arquiteto, investigou o património arqui- tectónico eslovaco relativo à saúde e bem-estar no pós-guerra no quadro do seu Doutoramento.
Membro do DOCOMOMO Eslováquia, promoveu acções de preservação do património da saúde, desig- nadamente o livro, filme e a exposição Off Season
em Bratislava sobre o Sanatorium Machnáč, em Teplice.
Architect, in the framework of his PhD thesis he researched Slovak architectural heritage of post-war health and welfare. Member of DOCOMOMO Slovakia, he has promoted several actions for the preservation of health heritage, namely the pro- duction of the book, film and exhibition Off Sea- son, in Bratislava, about the Sanatorium Machnáč in Trenčianske (Teplice).
Paulo Pais (PT)
Arquitecto, integra a Câmara Municipal de Lis- boa em 1993 na área do planeamento urbano, e entre 2000 e 2002 é Chefe de Divisão no Depar- tamento de Projectos Estratégicos. Director do Plano Director da Câmara Municipal de Loures (2002 - 2007). Desde 2008 é director do Depar- tamento de Planeamento Urbano da Câmara Muni- cipal de Lisboa, como coordenador da Revisão do Plano Director de Lisboa 2012. Presidente do Conselho Regional Sul, (2002-2004) e Membro de vários órgãos de governo na Câmara de Arquitec- tos (1996-2016).
Architect, joined the Lisbon City Council in 1993 working mainly in urban planning and as Head of Division in the Strategic Projects Department (2000-2002). Director for the Master Plan, Loures City Council (2002 – 2007). Since 2008 is the Director of Urban Planning Department at Lisbon City Council, as coordinator of the 2012 Lisbon Master Plan’s Revision. President of the South Regional Board, (2002-2004) and Member of several governing bodies in the Chamber of Architects (1996-2016).
Peter Pawlik (DE)
Arquitecto, presidente da Associação de Arquitectos de Saúde da Sociedade de Arquitec- tos Alemães, membro delegado do Grupo de Saúde Pública da União Internacional de Arquitectos, e dirigente da Sociedade Alemã para a História dos Hospitais. Construiu cerca de 55 hospitais entre 1977 e 2007. Publicou sobre temas hospi- talares designadamente a pesquisa sobre Herman Distel: Von Bergedorf nach Germania — Hermann Distel (1875-1945) — Ein Architektenleben in bewegter Zeit.
Architect, chairman of the Association of Healthcare Architects of the Society of German Architects AKG / BDA, delegate member of the Public Health Group of the International Union of Architects and member of the board of the German Society for History of Hospitals. He built about 55 hospitals between 1977 and 2007.
He has published on specific hospital and his- torical-hospital subjects, namely his research on Herman Distel, published in Von Bergedorf nach Germania — Hermann Distel (1875–1945) — Ein Architektenleben in bewegter Zeit.
Philippe Grandvoinnet (FR)
Arquitecto, historiador de arquitectura, é in- vestigador associado na Escola Nacional de Arquitectura de Versalhes e na Universidade de Estrasburgo (Laboratório de Artes, Civilização e História da Europa). Arquitecto e urbanista do Estado no Ministério da Cultura e Comuni- cação desde 2012. Publicou Histoire des sana- toriums en France (1915–1945) na sequência do seu Doutoramento.
Architect, historian of architecture and associate researcher at the National School of Architecture of Versailles and the University of Strasbourg (Laboratory of Arts, Civilization and History of Europe). He is architect and urban planner of the State in the Ministry of Culture and Communication since 2012. He published Histoire des sanatoriums en France (1915-1945), following his PhD.
Renato Gama Rosa (BR)
Arquitecto, investigador do Núcleo de Estudos de Urbanismo e Arquitectura em Saúde, da Casa de Oswaldo Cruz, onde é coordenador do curso de Mestrado em Preservação e Gestão do Patrimó- nio Cultural das Ciências e da Saúde. Professor do Curso de Pós-Graduação em Saúde Pública da Escola Nacional de Saúde Pública da Fiocruz, é coordenador do Grupo de Pesquisa no CNPq “Saú- de e Cidade” e Presidente do DOCOMOMO Brasil.
Architect, research member of the Center for Studies in Urban Planning and Architecture in Health, by Casa de Oswaldo Cruz, where he is coordinator of the Master’s Degree in Pres- ervation and Management of Science and Health Cultural Heritage. Professor of the Post-Grad- uation Course in Public Health of the Fiocruz Public Health National School, he coordinates the Research Group at CNPq ‘Saúde e Cidade’.
He is President of DOCOMOMO Brazil.
Wessel de Jonge (NL)
Arquitecto e Professor na Faculdade de Arquitectura da Delft University of Technology.
Com o atelier Wessel de Jonge architecten bna bv e em co-autoria com a Henket Architects, foi responsável pelo restauro do sanatório Zonnestraal, em Hilversum. Reabilitou a Fábrica Van Nelle, em Roterdão (UNESCO Património da Humanidade). Co-fundador do DOCOMOMO Interna- tional, secretário geral (1990–2002) e editor do DOCOMOMO Journal.
Architect and professor at the Faculty of Architecture at Delft University of Technology.
With the Wessel de Jonge architecten bna bv, in collaboration with Henket Architects, he was responsible for the restoration of the Zonnes- traal sanatorium in Hilversum. He conducted the rehabilitation of the Van Nelle Plant, Rotterdam (UNESCO as World Heritage). Co-founder of DOCOMOMO International, General Secretary (1990–2002) and editor of the DOCOMOMO Journal.
