6.2.1.4. Objectivos de aprendizagem (conhecimentos, aptidões e competências a desenvolver pelos estudantes): Nesta unidade curricular os aprendentes de língua alemã deverão atingir um grau de conhecimento

correspondente ao nível B1.2 (utilizador independente) do Quadro Europeu Comum de Referência nas

competências: ouvir, ler, falar e escrever. No final do semestre deverão ser capazes de: compreender sequências faladas e textos escritos em que predomine uma linguagem corrente do quotidiano, participar ativamente, e sem preparação prévia, de uma conversa em língua alemã sobre assuntos conhecidos, produzir textos articulados e coerentes sobre temas familiares e de interesse pessoal, descrevendo impressões e expondo a sua opinião, dominar a terminologia e o uso de estruturas gramaticais adequadas para este nível e alargar o interesse por realidades socioculturais diferentes.

6.2.1.4. Learning outcomes of the curricular unit:

The course unit German B1.2 will enable the learners of German to achieve a knowledge grade for the B1.2 level (independent user) such as indicated in the Common European Framework of Reference in the four basic language skills: listening, reading, speaking and writing. By the end of the semester students should be able to: understand the main points of oral and written texts that consist mainly of everyday related language; enter unprepared into conversation on topics that are familiar; produce connected texts on topics that are familiar or of personal interest, describing impressions and expressing their opinions; master the terminology and appropriate use of grammatical structures; extend their interest in different social and cultural realities.

6.2.1.5. Conteúdos programáticos:

Na UC serão trabalhados o vocabulário e as expressões idiomáticas relacionados com os temas propostos pelo manual adotado (studio d B1). Os estudantes irão conhecer aspetos da migração nos países de língua alemã e estudar questões pertinentes ao contexto político na Alemanha e na Europa. Os conflitos interculturais, a preocupação com o meio ambiente e a relação entre diferentes generações na Alemanha serão igualmente abordados. Os estudantes desenvolverão competências lexicais e gramaticais necessárias para: formular hipóteses, comentar situações quotidianas relativas a diferenças interculturais, discutir temas polêmcios, descrever um gráfico, expressar sentimentos. No plano gramatical serão focados: modos conjuntivo, orações condicionais, temporais e causais, preposições, forma passiva e formação de palavras por sufuxação. Através do trabalho com textos autênticos e o uso de recursos multimedia, serão veiculados aspetos socioculturais da Alemanha atual.

6.2.1.5. Syllabus:

In the course unit B1.2 vocabulary and idioms related to the thematic areas of the manual (studio d B1) will be addressed. Students will learn aspects of the migration processes in the German-speaking countries and the German and European political systems. Cross-cultural and generation conflicts also will be addressed in the German language classes. Students will develop the lexical and grammatical skills necessary for the construction of statements relating to the following acts of speech: talking about the future (conjecturing), discussing (agreeing and disagreeing) about everyday life related topics, describing (images and graphs), and expressing feelings. In the grammatical learners will practice conditional, temporal and causal sentences, passive, prepositions, and suffixes. Through the work with authentic texts and the use of multimedia resources, sociocultural characteristics of modern Germany will be addressed.

6.2.1.6. Demonstração da coerência dos conteúdos programáticos com os objectivos de aprendizagem da unidade curricular.

Através do trabalho com o manual (studio d B1), que contém uma vasta gama de exercícios e tarefas que visam desenvolver, de uma maneira sistemática e progressiva, as quatro competências e o léxico, assim como a fonética e as estruturas gramaticais, os estudantes consolidarão e aprofundarão os seus conhecimentos e capacidades linguísticas previstos no CECR para o nível B1.2. Além disso, terão acesso a aspetos da realidade social e da variedade cultural dos países de língua alemã através do trabalho com os textos escritos e recursos audiovisuais. Os conteúdos gramaticais (conjugação verbal, orações subordinadas, orações negativas, nominalizações e declinação dos adjetivos) e o léxico serão trabalhados em situações de uso da língua, visando a compreensão, a elaboração e a expressão de enunciados relacionados com os atos de fala.

6.2.1.6. Demonstration of the syllabus coherence with the curricular unit's learning objectives.

Through the work with the manual (Studio d B1), which covers a wide range of tasks and exercises designed to develop the four skills and vocabulary, as wells as phonetic and grammatical structures in a systematic and progressive way, students will consolidate and deepen their knowledge and language skills as set the CEFR for the B1.2 level of study of the German language. In addition, students will have access to aspects of social reality and cultural variety of the German-speaking countries by working with written texts and audiovisual materials. The

grammatical content (verb conjugation, subordinate and negative clauses, nominalizations and declination of adjectives) and the lexicon will be worked in situations of language usage, aimed at understanding, developing, and expressing of statements related to the acts of speech.

6.2.1.7. Metodologias de ensino (avaliação incluída):

Diferentes estratégias didácticas são adotadas numa abordagem comunicativa com o objetivo de promover uma comunicação relevante e autêntica. O processo de aprendizagem da língua será criativo e construtivo, englobando correção e precisão linguísticas. A avaliação contínua das aprendizagens, sem exame final, tem o objetivo de estimular o trabalho progressivo, oferecendo uma análise regular sobre as competências desenvolvidas pelos aprendentes. Dentro deste modo de avaliação, dar-se-á grande importância à participação ativa e contínua dos estudantes em aula, incluindo assiduidade, estudo autónomo, empenho na realização das tarefas e entrega dos trabalhos propostos.

Através de testes escritos e orais, serão avaliadas, de acordo com o Quadro Europeu Comum de Referência, as competências linguístico-pragmáticas e sociolinguísticas adquiridas tanto na compreensão e interação oral, como na interpretação escrita e produção textual (componente oral: 40%; componente escrita: 60%).

6.2.1.7. Teaching methodologies (including evaluation):

The communicative approach and different teaching strategies will involve the integration of different language skills, which should be used throughout the course, so as to make authentic and meaningful communication the goal of classroom activities. Students are guided to make German language learning a process of creative construction. The type of assessment is the distributed evaluation without final exam, which will stimulate regular participation, offering a regular analysis on the process of acquiring competences. This mode of assessment implies an active and continuous participation in class, self-study, engagement and delivering of the proposed works. Linguistic-pragmatic and sociolinguistic skills, developed in both comprehension and oral interaction, as interpretation of written texts and textual production will be evaluated through oral communications and written tests according to the CEFR (oral assessment: 40%, writing tests: 60%).

6.2.1.8. Demonstração da coerência das metodologias de ensino com os objectivos de aprendizagem da unidade curricular.

Com base nos objetivos da unidade curricular de Alemão B1.2, os métodos de ensino adotados nas aulas visam o desenvolvimento de todas as competências de língua, nomeadamente a compreensão oral e escrita, a expressão oral com e sem interação, a expressão escrita e o estudo do vocabulário e da gramática. As atividades propostas basear-se-ão em situações de comunicação que se aproximem, ao máximo possível, de situações autênticas. A metodologia comunicativa pretende motivar o estudante a “aprender a aprender”, passando de um papel passivo a um papel ativo na aprendizagem da língua. Assim, gramática e léxico serão estudados como ferramentas

essenciais para comprender ou produzir enunciados correspondentes aos diferentes atos de fala. Relativamente à compreensão oral e escrita, os estudantes desenvolverão, através das atividades propostas pelo manual (studio d B1) e do uso de recursos multimedia, as competências necessárias para a compreensão e interpretação de textos e/ou sequências de fala, dentro de uma linguagem clara e estandardizada. Serão propostas tarefas baseadas em textos escritos, que desenvolvam a capacidade de interpretação, através de questionários abertos, bem como técnicas de resumo e gráficos. No âmbito da expressão oral (com ou sem interação), os estudantes irão solidificar conhecimentos gramaticais e lexicais através de atividades comunicativas, na forma de relatos individuais ou diálogos em grupo, sobre situações pertinentes ao quotidiano ou temas familiares/de interesse. A compreensão oral será trabalhada não só através da utilização da língua alemã por parte do docente durante as aulas, em todas as situações, mas também através do trabalho com materiais audiovisuais (atividades individuais de audição discrimnativa), que lhes permitam o acesso ao uso da língua em diálogos, entrevistas, programas de rádio e outras fontes do quotidiano. Além disso, os aprendentes estudarão as estruturas gramaticais e as expressões idiomáticas adequadas para a descrição de fotografias e imagens. Em termos de produção escrita (trabalho individual), os estudantes deverão expressar-se, de modo argumentativo, sobre temas do quotidiano e/ou aspetos relacionados com as unidades temáticas propostas pelo manual, utilizando expressões e vocabulário adequados. Os testes propostos dentro do sistema de avaliação distribuída terão como objeito permitir, ao docente e ao estudante, verificar o progresso na revisão e no aprofundamento de conhecimentos já existentes e na aquisição de novos conteúdos. O estudo da língua alemã no nível B1.2 será aprofundado através de materiais didáticos opcionais, colocados à disposição dos estudantes pela docente.

6.2.1.8. Demonstration of the coherence between the teaching methodologies and the learning outcomes. Based on the curricular unit’s intended learning outcomes, teaching methods adopted in classes aimed at developing all language kills: oral and written and oral comprehension, written and oral expression, as well as the study of vocabulary and grammar. The proposed activities will be based on a communicative methodology, which motivates the students to start “learning to learn”, moving from a passive to a more active part in language study. Grammar and vocabulary will be studied as essential tools to comprehend or produce statements corresponding to different acts of speech. Regarding listening (oral comprehension) and reading (written comprehension) learners will develop - through the activities proposed by the manual and the use of multimedia resources - the necessary competencies for understanding clear standard texts and/or speech sequences. Student’s ability to read and understand written texts will be developed due various methodologies as questionnaires, summaries and graphs. By speaking students will solidify grammatical and lexical knowledge through communicative activities. The

listening will be crafted not only by the use of the German language by the teacher during lessons, in all situations, but also by working with audiovisual materials (to allow them access to the language usage in dialogues,

interviews, radio programs and other sources of everyday life). Further, students will study the grammatical structures and idioms appropriate for describing images, and will produce simple connected texts for describing experiences and giving reasons and explanations. Oral and written tests permit teacher and students to check progress in reviewing of existing knowledge and in the acquisition of new content. The study of the German language in the B1.2 level will be enhanced by optional instructional materials available to the students by the teacher.
