- to our authors, who, by submitting increasingly better-quality works,increasedthejournal’slevel and madeits selectionpossible;

Initially, studiespublished in2014and 2015are already indexedandavailable,butthecurrentboardauthorizedthe investmentrequiredtoindexallstudiespublishedfrom2009 to2013andthus,completethecollectionofpublicationsfrom recentyears.
Todate,ourpositionregardingtheeditorialboardwasto constructa journal that depicted Brazilianorthopedics. In somesituations,wepublishedstudies which, althoughdid nothaveveryhighquality,depictedourreality.Atothertimes, wereturnedpapersseveraltimes,untiltheauthorimproved the manuscript,as webelieved that author was a promis-ingone,or thatagrouprepresentedanimportantregional reality.
When theindexing wasaccomplished, weanalyzedthe rightswehaveacquiredandfoundthat,withoutdoubt,the internationalizationof Brazilianorthopedics was the main gain.
Our studies will be availableto be read, consulted and appraisedworldwide.
Wehavegreatconcernsaboutthisappraisal,asourstudies haveneverbeenpresentedsoopenlybefore.
Thanks to globalization, we will receive studies from around the world, which will compete with ours in the appraisalprocesstobepublishedinRBO.
