Seu Jorge nasceu em 1970 em Belford Roxo, no Rio de Janeiro, Brasil. Músico dos pés à cabeça, cantor, compositor, instrumentalista, produtor e ator, define-se a si mesmo como um cantor e compositor popular, que gosta de inúmeros géneros musicais, mas cujo fundamento é o samba: “…O samba é a nossa verdade, nossa particularidade, é a nossa medalha de ouro, nosso baluarte, nosso estandarte brasileiro.” Com uma carreira internacional brilhante, tem em Portugal uma legião de fãs que fazem dele um dos artistas brasileiros mais ouvidos e reconhecidos no nosso país.

Seu Jorge was born in 1970 in Belford Roxo, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Head to toe musician, singer, songwriter, instrumentalist, producer and actor, he defines himself as a popular singer-songwriter who enjoys numerous music genres, but whose foundation is the samba: ‘…Samba is our truth, our idiosyncrasy, it is our gold medal, our stronghold, the Brazilian flagship.’ With a brilliant international career, Seu Jorge has legions of Portuguese fans, thus making him one of the most played and acknowledged Brazilian artists in Portugal.

O maior evento dedicado às aves em Portugal irá animar a Vila de Sagres entre os dias 4 e 6 de outubro. Embora a atração principal do evento sejam as aves e o enfoque sejam as saídas de campo e de barco, este ano estão também previstas saídas de campo e mini-cursos sobre outros temas como astronomia, cogumelos, borboletas noturnas, tubarões, e muito mais. Como tem sido já habitual, será igualmente possível participar em atividades de observação de golfinhos ou mesmo dar um passeio a cavalo ou na companhia de burros de carga.

The biggest birdwatching event in Portugal will be taking place in Sagres between 4th and 6th October. And although birds are the main attraction of the event, which focuses on field and boat trips, this year’s programme will also include field trips and short courses extended to other areas such as astronomy, mushrooms, nocturnal butterflies, sharks, and much more. As per usual, participants will also be able to watch dolphins, go horse riding or go for strolls with the donkeys.
