6.2.1.4. Objectivos de aprendizagem (conhecimentos, aptidões e competências a desenvolver pelos estudantes):
1.Objectivo geral: sensibilizar para a importância da psicometria como área de interesse transversal às diferentes áreas da psicologia e da comunicação dos resultados dos estudos de validação e aferição das escalas.
2.Objectivos específicos:
1.Promover o desenvolvimento de competências no processo de elaboração dos testes e do estudo das suas características psicométricas.
2.Proporcionar contacto com testes psicométricos de diferentes tipos e com o processo de cotação e correção
3.Dominar a linguagem da psicometria para interpretação e aplicação das normas em manual
4.Utilização do SPSS como ferramenta para atribuição de scores, validação e aferição de instrumentos 5. Promover competências relativas ao processo de verificação da qualidade dos testes através do estudo das suas características psicométricas, da conversão de resultados brutos num qualquer tipo de norma. 6. Analise critica de publicações de índole psicométrica
6.2.1.4. Learning outcomes of the curricular unit:
1. General Objective: to sensitize to the importance of the psychometry as an area of traversal interest to the different areas of psychology and to the communication of the results of the validation studies and scales. 2. Specific Objectives: 1. Promote the development of competences in the process of elaboration of tests and of the study of their psychometrical characteristics. 2. Provide contact with psychometrics tests of different types and with the scoring process and correction 3. Dominate the language of psychometric for interpretation and application of the norms. 4. SPSS as tool for score attribution, validation and measurement instruments 5. To promote competences on the process of verification of the quality of the tests through the study of their psychometrical characteristics, of the conversion of crude results into a norm type. 6. Analyze, criticize psychometric publications.

Os conteúdos programáticos estão em coerência com os objetivos da unidade curricular, pois: - os pontos 1 a 4 dos conteúdos programáticos pretendem concretizar os pontos 1 a 3 dos objetivos específicos de aprendizagem;
- os pontos 5 e 6 dos conteúdos programáticos pretendem concretizar os pontos 4 e 5 dos objetivos específicos de aprendizagem;
- o ponto 7 e 8 dos conteúdos programáticos pretendem concretizar o ponto 6 dos objetivos específicos de aprendizagem;

The contents are in coherent with the objectives of the unit because: - points 1 to 4 of the contents intend to render points 1 to 3 of the specific learning objectives; - points 5 and 6 of the contents intend to render points 4 and 5 of the specific learning objectives; - points 7 and 8 of the contents intend to render point 6 of the specific learning objectives; - all of the points of the contents compete for the materialization of the general learning objective.

Metodologias:
Será utilizada metodologia expositiva, interrogativa e demonstrativa na apresentação dos conteúdos programáticos. Recorrer-se-á à metodologia ativa na apresentação dos artigos científicos que se
debruçam sobre os aspetos psicométricos, objetivando a discussão e a apresentação por parte dos alunos das questões que emergem aquando da preparação dos seus trabalhos individuais acerca de uma escala utilizada em psicologia clinica.
Avaliação:
1.Trabalho de grupo: Escrever um artigo de revisão sobre um teste psicométrico (Max. de 5 alunos por grupo)
2.Trabalho individual: Recolha de dados para validação de uma escala proposta pela docente e elaboração de uma base de dados com os inquéritos que cada um recolheu (0,05 val por inquérito recolhido, com máximo de 5 val) e respectiva análise psicométrica (5 val)
Trabalho de grupo (Max. de 5 alunos por grupo) merge dos dados das bases de dados individuais dos membros do grupo e respectiva análise psicométrica (5 val)
6.2.1.7. Teaching methodologies (including evaluation):
Expository, interrogative and demonstrative methodologies are used in the presentation of the contents. Active methodology in the presentation of the scientific articles on the psychometrics aspects, aiming for the discussion and the presentation by the students of the subjects of their individual works and issues concerning the scales used in clinical psychology. Evaluation: 1. Group project: To write a revision article on a psychometric test (Max. of 5 students per group) 2. Individual assignment: Collection of data for validation of a scale proposed by the teacher and elaboration of a database with the inquiries that each one collected (0,05 per collected inquiry, with maximum of 5 points) and respective psychometric analysis (5pt).
6.2.1.8. Demonstração da coerência das metodologias de ensino com os objectivos de aprendizagem da unidade curricular.
Com a combinação dos métodos utilizados pretende-se dar mais importância ao processo de pensamento independente e ativo de quem aprende. Os alunos são encorajados a experimentar (planeando,
construindo e recolhendo dados) e tratar os seus próprios dados.
Durante as aulas serão fornecidas aos alunos meios e técnicas que avaliam e descrevem de forma objectiva o funcionamento psíquico e o comportamento individual, fundamentais a execução das técnicas de análise psicométrica implícitas nos testes normalizados, de medição das funções psíquicas, destinados a estabelecer uma base quantificável das diferenças entre indivíduos.
A docente mantém a filosofia da necessidade do aluno demonstrar que foi capaz de usar as ferramentas certas no momento que delas necessitou. O fazer-saber implica saber-saber (recolha de dados e selecção adequada das estratégias psicométricas aos dados que possui) mas, também saber-fazer (artigo de revisão acerca de um teste psicométrico).
6.2.1.8. Demonstration of the coherence between the teaching methodologies and the learning outcomes.
The combination of the used methods intends to attribute more importance to the process of independent and active thought. The students are encouraged to try to treat their own data (planning, building and collecting data). During the classes students will be supplied with the means and techniques that evaluate and describe in an objective manner the psychic operation and the behavior individual, fundamental the execution of the techniques of psychometric analysis implicit in the normalized tests, of measurement of the psychical functions, destined to establish a quantifiable base of the differences among individuals. The teacher maintains the philosophy that the student's need to demonstrate they are capable of using the right tools in the right moment. The knowledge application implicates to know-know (data collection and appropriate selection of the psychometrical strategies and also revision article concerning a psychometric test).
